Wow...Overboard
Time to really take it seriously. I've already gained back almost everything that I lost almost 5 yrs ago when I went to China. What's sad is that I'm feeling it too. My back is beginning to hurt because of the weight. I'm hoping w/ some changes I'll take exercising an eating healthier more seriously. I don't want a chance of a heart attack in my early 30s. Its time to make a change. I promise to myself that I will do some kind of activity everyday starting today whether it be hitting the gym for an hr or even taking a walk for 30 min. As long as I do some sort of activity everyday that already changes my routine and brings back exercise in my life.

Day 1 Again
Really hard figuring out what to eat when you have a long drive home. Either grab something fast for the drive. Or wait an hour to get home, cook something and by the time you eat its already past 8. Any suggestions on yummy good food that is not fast food? I need to go buy more yummy fruit and veggies.

Starting Over
So it's time to start my health kick all over again. This past back injury definitely opened my eyes to taking care of my body better. As I get older my body is more prone to injury a lot quicker than i was younger. So its time to kick it back into gear.

Apidexin Day 4
I admit I haven't really been watching what I've been eating and haven't exercised this week. I'm gonna go to the market over the weekend so I can better prep what I eat for the week. Living so far from work doesn't help w/ saving money cause I manage to always grab something on the go cause the drive is so long from work to home in traffic. But I can't keep making excuses.

I'm having a bit of an off day...Must eat a Full breakfast prior to taking 2nd pill. I only had a banana this morning and I'm feeling it a little after taking the 2nd pill. Its nothing crazy like jitters, but I do feel off.

Apidexin Day 2
I decided to try taking the pill as directed since no bad side effects occurred. I took it this morning 30 min before breakfast and 30 min before lunch. And still doing well. No shakes or jitters just a burst of energy which is good since I was up all night sneezing due to my allergies. I didn't go to bed til close to 4.
Breakfast: Bean & Cheese Burrito
Lunch: Rice, Beef stir fry w/ tomatoes and mushroom.
I didn't really eat much. The pill definitely curbs your appetite. I wasn't really hungry but I knew I should at least eat a little something.
Feeling good and drinking lots of water!
Dinner: Korean BBQ
Breakfast: Bean & Cheese Burrito
Lunch: Rice, Beef stir fry w/ tomatoes and mushroom.

Apidexin Day 1
I decided to get my ass in gear back into shape and I needed something to help me kick start it. I started looking into different diet pills, like alli, quick trim, clinicallix and others. After reading consumer reviews I finally decided on Apidexin.
I've taken Metabolife in the past during HS. First month was go, but after that I ad to stop cause I got really Jittery.So I'm gonna be very cautious when taking this diet pill.
Today will be Day 1. Instructions says to take it twice a day 30 min before breakfast and lunch. Today I will only take one 30 min before lunch to see the reaction my body will have to the pill and I will work from there. I will also start watching my food intake and do at least 30 min to and hr of exercise a day.
Wish me luck and I will definitely be posting updates on my status throughout the week.

You know when someone says I feel like a bug was on me and then you start feeling itchy because someone else says they feel itchy. I'm worried that because I've had the shakes before I'm anticipating it and might be imagining it but really I'm not, hahah. I guess we'll see. All the consumers say to drink plenty of water to avoid that feeling. So drinking lots of water I shall do!

Stomach Flu...NO BUENO!
So I ended up getting the stomach flu last Thursday. Felt like a car ran over me. But I'm feeling WAY BETTER compared to last week. Still not able to eat too much food, but slowly taking little things in. Gonna be a busy week of planning for Max's Shower on Sat and re-cooperating.

Starting all over again
I haven't had much focus on my health as I have in the past. I still do go to dance classes every so often, but eating habits needs to be managed more.
Since giving up Fried Foods and Sweets for Lent, have been a little struggle, its made me realize how tough I really am. And that even though I get cravings, I'm able to stop myself. So I hope this strength will continue even after lent.

I'm gonna be a Godmother!!!!
I got a call from my brother last night and the first thing he says is are you busy Feb 9th and Feb 27th? I look at my google calendar and I'm like no what's up? He's like oh its gonna be Hannah's Baptism and I'm like woah, thats quick and I hear Satomi in the background talking to my brother in Japanese and he's like OH YA Satomi and I would like you to be Hannah's Godmother! I WAS SOO HAPPY to be asked. I've always wanted to be a godmother. Marilyn and I have had many conversations about it. How its really exciting and just an honor to be considered and asked. I'm super duper excited. Now what to get her???

LMU Wine Classics
was pretty awesome. I think it definitely is worth the $80 I paid. You get a plate and your own glass w/ LMU etching on it. Tried several different wines all pretty good. Was sad they only had one riesling. But food was yummy, but the best was the company!

Lazy and feeling EWW
I was super heavy this weekend, so I felt really Blah. Saturday I didn't get out of bed til 4:25 cause I was finally hungry. So I got up went downstairs and my dad had baked some fish fillets. So I heated a few pieces up, grabbed 2 slices of bread, slice of cheese, 4 pcs of lettuce, a little mayo and made myself a fish fillet sandwich. It was pretty yummy. The rest of the day I cleaned out my room, washed my sheets, and did my laundry.

Really amazing breakfast place. Satomi called me around 7 to tell me that she was picking up my cousins and meeting my brother there for dinner Fri night. I was still at work and really hoped that I could meet with them. Thankfully my brother got out of LAX a little before we left the office, so I was able to meet up with them. I ordered corn beef hash and eggs. Pretty good, but I wasn't as hungry as I thought so I only took two bites. Finally tried the fully loaded waffles, so not a two people dessert. Definitely need at least 4 people for it.

DineLA w/ Marilyn
Marilyn and I haven't had Double Shot time in awhile. So when we heard DineLA was coming into town, we had to jump at the opportunity to at least hit up one restaurant during the week. We decided on something nearby, so we picked Saint Amour in Culver City. It was pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of the lobster bisque but Marilyn's salad was mighty tasty even without the duck meat, heheh. The risotto wasn't bad. I like the creaminess and how light it was. Best part of the entree was the asparagus. Dessert was yumm! Hot fresh Apples pleased my tummy. Pictures to come!
Afterwards we hit up ROSS!!!! Our old time friend that we haven't visited together in SOOO LONG. We found a few cute things. I got a really cute dress, some sports bra tops, and these really cute shoes.

Lazy Sunday
I had a really bad nightmare Sunday morning. I woke up w/ tears and breathing heavily. So the rest of the day for me was kind of blah. I did get out of bed a few times to like grab something to eat and walk around a bit, but most of the day was spent watching paranormal state, playing little big planet and switching btwn I now pronounce you chuck and larry, the notebook, school of rock and the davinci code. I always get emo the week I get my period and low and behold I started balling while watching the Notebook and I now Pronounce you Chuck & Larry. It was pretty ridiculous. Just one of those days.

Hangout w/ Kara
I decided its been awhile since I've been to Porto's and reading Marilyn's IM messages totally makes me want certain things that she posts, hehhe. I was going down to OC on Sat for Steph's Bday but I called Kara earlier that week to see if she was free in the afternoon and sure enough she hadn't made plans yet. So Sat morning I woke up wrote a list of what I wanted to get. I planned to get something for Kara and Robert, My family, my bro and his family, and Rocco's Best Friends family since I was going to be down in Costa Mesa and they love desserts. Poor girl who helped me out...she was AWESOME and thank god I wrote everything out or else it would have been a mess. So I walked out Porto's w/ 5 different orders. My car smelled so good I couldn't wait and had to at least grab myself a potato ball.
I then headed over to my brothers and hung out w/ hannah for a lil bit. My niece finally turned over onto her belly and it was the day she turned 6 months! She's growing up so fast, next thing you know she'll be crawling, then walking. I finally left the my bro's around 10:30 and went home and got ready.
I first went to Son's house to drop off the yummy food. She was really excited. We talked for a little bit then I headed out to Kara's. We ran some errands, got pedis and threaded. Then I had to go to Torrid to get Leggings so we headed to Irvine Spectrum. It worked out cause Kara wanted to buy a Blk Coat from Macy's and mission accomplished. I even walked out w/ a nice blk coat. I'm excited for it.
We then headed back home cause we spent some time there. We were pretty hungry so we decided to pick up a snack. Went to KFC and got some wings. Kara ordered 20 pcs but the girl accidentally charged her card for 10 pcs. She wanted Kara to pay for another 10, but that would have made it a bit more then what we would have paid for for the 20 pc. So the girls said nevermind and gave us 20 pcs for the price of 10. I think she just didn't remember how to cancel a transaction or was too lazy to do it. We had to wait 10 min for the wings to be done so she offered us two free drinks while we waited. It was crazy, hahah.
After we headed back to the apt to get ready for the club. Original plans were to get sushi for dinner, but that changed and we just got pizza and got ready at Kara's. Club red was pretty cool. All I can say was thank god we had a place to sit down. There was definitely some entertaining people to watch. One girl was clearly really drunk, but the best line I heard that night was a bouncer saying to another bouncer about the girl "either she's really drunk, or she really dances like that." HAHAHAHA SHE WAS WOW! LIKE WOW!! Kick her out already she was everywhere! We stayed til the lights came on, I was pretty tired. Its been a REALLY long time since I've been out that late, but I had a lot of fun. I'm really glad I got to hang out with Kara and everyone else down in the OC. I got home around 3:30.

Jackie IMed me last minute to ask if I could take her to the airport so I said sure. We wanted to have dinner, but she was running late on packing so I said I would pick up some food. I was craving nachos from Viva Fresh so I got that w/ no beans and passed by Kookooroo and got her a sandwich. I then headed to her place where she amazingly fit one week of clothing into a jansport backpack. We headed off to the airport where she just made her flight out and I went straight home. I was way too tired to hit the gym by then.

It was raining pretty hard on Thursday. After work I headed to Panera for some soup. I had time to kill before dance so instead of staying in the dining area of panera drinking my yummy soup, I sat in my car and watched the thunder and lightning. Yes, call me weird, but I'm just fascinated by the bright light and noise. Class was great did a lot of floor work so my ass totally is sore. Sara is going out of town for two weeks to Colorado, so Jesus will be taking over while she's gone. His hip hop class was pretty cool but I know his specialty is contemporary so I'm excited to take his class for that.

10-12 hr work days
Work is getting ridiculous! I left the office close to 9 last night. I really hope this doesn't continue. Don't get me wrong I'm very grateful that we are busy, but we're not busy because we're getting more entries, we're busy because everyone is freaking out about the ISF filing penalties fee that go into effect on Jan 26. Never mind that we had a whole year trial period where we tried to get our customers use to the process, but nope they all opted to not listen to us and look at them now. I'm trying my best to help them out, but they need to help me out by providing the correct information to me on time. Don't be mad when you're suppose to provide this information to me 24HRS BEFORE the cargo boards the vessel and you give it to me a day after. The filing has to be done 24 hrs prior no if ands or buts or I'm sorry you get a $5000 fine. So I got out at 9, was starving, passed by Borders to pick up my bedside journal, and just passed by Jack in the Crack for a sourdough jack. Oh...so you might be wondering what this bedside journal is for. Well, what people might not know about me is that I have a REALLY Vivid imagination. So when I dream, I dream big, in detail, and in color. So I decided to invest in a bedside dream journal so I can write down anything I may have dreamed. So I'm really excited about that. Tried going to Best Buy last night to return something but they already closed. Hoping today will be a better day. Still a bit sniffly but loading up on lots of tea. I'd like to make it out to Hip Hop class tonight, but it will all depend on what time I get out of work and how I'm feeling.

Not feeling Good but love the rain
Thank God for Monday off. It definitely gave me some much needed rest from this weekend and last week. The office has been crazy and it was nice to just have a day to really rest. Slept most of the day. Then mom told me Satomi was sick so she asked me to go buy them lunch and drop it off. I stayed a little while to hang out with Hannah, since I feel like I haven't seen her in so long. After, went to Radio Shack to pick up a Cable for the internet for my dad and went straight home to sleep some more.

Who sets the alarm at 4:30??
Woke up Sunday morning at 4:30 cause the stupid alarm went off. We got ready around 11 and met up with Son, Rob and baby Jack for lunch at Yard House. Didn't get my yummy grilled cheese, but I figured since I wasn't eating the best the rest of the weekend I should eat a little more healthier. So I went with soup and salad. Afterwards we ran some errands and went to visit Baby Jack and family for a little bit, I got to play w/ him while the guys were doing computer stuff. Headed back home in the rain and felt like I was getting a little sick so I stopped by the plaza by my house and got me some tofu soup. YUM!!!

Robert's Bday Dinner
Saturday went down to OC to hang out w/ Rocco and also for Robert's Bday Dinner. That morning Rocco took me to this dive place called Memphis. Originally I had ordered French Toast and he ordered the Eggs Benedict, but after seeing how much more I loved his food more than mine he switched with me, hheheh. It was soo yummy! Definitely a place to try if you're ever out in Costa Mesa. Afterwards, we headed to the discount dance supply store to buy me some footundeez for lyrical class. Socks aren't really doing it for me so I thought Id invest in lyrical shoes that basically just cover the balls of the foot. Here's a pic...

Had some yummy Mexican Food and one margarita that I ordered and then a surprise one from Susan. I called it a night after dinner cause the alcohol hit me hard I was already feeling it from the first one. I totally knocked out til the next morning.

Got off work late on Friday, then had to pick up my dads friends daughter at UCLA and drive her back to our hood. So I didn't get home til around 9. But I made it just in time to have a Skype date with my lil sis in Taiwan. Didn't work out on Friday, way too tired.

Stress Reliever
Dance is such an amazing stress reliever for me. Work has been pretty crazy these last few weeks especially w/ the ISF penalties going into effect on Jan 26. And now to add onto my stress one of our customers refuses to pay off their invoice with us because they say its our fault that their 2 shipments got seized. How is it our fault? You're the person who imported copyrighted commodity into the US! But ya, he wrote us this long email about how hes broke because of us, that we let this happen to him, blah, blah. So ya, I definitely needed to just release my mind and lyrical class definitely helped last night.

Hip Hop w/ Sara
Class was really good last night. I took hip hop and Sara was there this time. She taught a pretty cool combination. It was a little tricky w/ the arms, but I think by the end I was able to do it, heheh. My lil sis enjoyed the class too, she actually ran into an old hs friend there and of course I got to see Lani and Franz this time. Its because of them that I found out I was on youtube from Sara's lyrical class last week. So that was pretty cool to see. Hopefully Lani, Franz, and my lil comes out to lyrical tonight. I think I was able to convince them to come out.

Chinese food so good yet so unhealthy at times
Yesterday was my uncle's bday so the family went out to eat. We had chinese food shanghainese style. Stayed away from rice, had a little chicken, a shrimp, but then the fried fish wrapped in seaweed came out and I couldn't resist. Another thing was the steamed beef dumplings. I was doing so well until those two items came out. I just gotta work it off. Drank lots of tea and looking forward to hanging out w/ my lil sis Trisha and attending hip hop w/ her tonight.

Hip Hop 2
Last night was madness. Jackie asked if I could give her a ride to the airport I said sure I should get off of work around 5:30. As the day went on our office got busier. 5 turned into 5:30 which then turned to 6:30 and finally at 6:50 I was like I need to get going or else Jackie is going to miss her flight. Thankfully earlier that day I had to go to customs and parked my car in front of the building. I got into my car, got to the apt at 7:15 and dropped Jackie off at the airport around 7:30. As I was driving to the apt I realized I had forgotten my phone at the office so I had to pass by the office to pick it up after I dropped her off. By this time its already 7:45 I haven't had dinner yet and I knew I had to eat something before I went to lyrical class at 9. I went w/ cheap. It wasn't the healthiest but it was something that was just enough and cheap. A small beef burrito at taco bell. Around 8:15 I stopped by Trader Joes to pick up some snacks for the week and then headed off to class. When I got there the class I wanted to attend had just finished...OH NO! They had changed the schedule, but forgotten to post it on the website. Thankfully they were offering a hip hop class at 9. I took the class it was good a lot quicker teaching and faster steps. It was a good workout just trying to keep up. I broke out a good sweat from it. It wasn't until after that I found out the class was Hip Hop 2, hahha. No wonder I couldn't keep up. Next time I know Lyrical is at 7:30 on Mondays!

I'm in Love
Jackie and I went to check out the contemporary lyrical class last night and I LOVED IT!! This is the type of dance that I've been missing since HS. Warm up was intense. It was a mixture of Jazz/Pilates Warm up. Totally reminded me of Doc's warm ups at Mayfield. Oh how I miss those days. After the intense warm up which worked my core and reminded me how really out of shape I am we started on the combination. Loved Sara's choreography. She was awesome, amazing dancer and really sweet. I'm so looking forward to going to her class again. I know from her warm up and combinations that I will get back the strength I use to have and also get back into shape.

Contermporary Lyrical
Jackie (HS friend) and I had dinner at Jerry's. It's been great catching up w/ her and hanging out. We danced in hs together so when I told her Id be doing hip hop and wanted to check out the contemporary lyrical class she was all for it. After dinner we headed to the new studio and ran into Franz (friend from college). Apparently him and Lani have been a few times, but this time she didn't end up going. Class was good. Sara(SYTYCD, season 3), wasn't there this time, but Jesus (also from season 3) subbed for her. He was really funny and a really good dancer. I really enjoyed our class. Unfortunately, I think I tweaked my ankle a little. Tonight is Contemporary Lyrical which I'm SUPER excited to check out. This is the kind of dance I really miss. I like hip hop but for me it more for a good work out, whereas jazz and lyrical is the type of dance I love.

I'm so very excited for today! Its my first day back doing dance. I'm gonna do hip hop tonight w/ my hs friend Jackie and also check out the Contemporary Lyrical class tomorrow night also w/ her. Hope they both go well cause I'll be all about it. I just prefer dance over like running, hahah. But that's just me. Can't take the dancer out of this girl.

New Year
It is now 2010. A whole decade has past and it's time to start fresh again. A lot has happened in the past year, both good and bad, but now its time to start all over again with new goals or get back on track w/ old goals. I started this blog awhile back to get back into shape. After the weddings I lost track of that and have totally gotten of course. Now its time to stop being lazy and be more healthy. I'll be 30 in a year and a half and I need to use this time while I'm still young to get off my ass and start working out.
I'm not saying I won't struggle through it. But with enough determination and the support my friends give me every day, I will get to my goal weight. Its time to get focused and find that right balance so I can maintain my weight loss.
Weight, BMI to come. I will do that tonight after I hit the gym.
